As a technology company, focused on building software, we consider ourselves to be in a fortunate position during this global pandemic. With one-third of our workforce already working remotely, we are well-positioned to continue operations with minimal disruption.
We rely heavily on communication tools like Slack and Zoom for staying connected, GSuite for business productivity, and specialty products like GitHub, Basecamp, and Trello for code and project management. These cloud-based services have become essential for maintaining productivity, particularly now that our company headquarters is closed and our workforce is distributed across the country.
We are collectively adhering to social distancing guidelines. We also possess the necessary tools to continue serving our global customer network. Nonetheless, we acknowledge our privileged position. We recognize the challenges that individuals, families, and businesses are facing.
Fulcrum in times of crisis
We’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing folks over the years during challenging times, including relief efforts during hurricanes Harvey and Dorian, the California wildfires, and numerous earthquakes, tornadoes, and cyclones. Beyond natural disasters, Fulcrum is deployed daily to maintain utility networks, protect endangered wildlife, manage homelessness, and countless other critical tasks. Our entire team takes great pride in recognizing that for many of our customers, Fulcrum has become one of their own critical cloud-based services, essential to maintaining productivity, especially when circumstances are challenging.
The Fulcrum platform is user-friendly, robust, and incredibly flexible by design. Our mission is to provide tools that allow professionals to concentrate on their work. This way, they won’t have to worry about IT challenges.
Fulcrum’s COVID-19 response
In light of the current pandemic, we have decided to offer our platform at no cost for 90 days to organizations that have a need to collect and share information as part of their COVID-19 response. We hope this will enable users to accelerate their efforts during the acute phase of this crisis.
We have even built several ready-to-use apps for some common use cases. You can view and download them here.
We’ve seen the incredible apps our users have built. We believe in mobile technology’s power to enhance information sharing. We’ve also witnessed the remarkable outcomes of timely field data collection and location intelligence. Our users apply Fulcrum in diverse areas: healthcare data, case management, tracking donations, and managing supplies and product inventories. They use it for sanitary inspections and cleaning programs too. We view Fulcrum as a vital tool in the fight against this virus. We are all committed to overcoming this challenge as soon as possible.
